HOUSTON (CBS HOUSTON) – The field is set for the three-point contest during All-Star weekend and James Harden is part of the star-studded outside-shooting group.
The top five NBA players in three pointers made are all in the contest: Klay Thompson, Steph Curry, Wesley Matthews, Kyle Korver, and Harden. Kyrie Irving, J.J. Redick, and Marco Belinelli are also in the three-point field.
Harden averages a league-leading 27 points with 6.8 assists, 5.6 rebounds, and two steals, which is tied for fourth in the league.
This comes a day after Harden became the first Rocket ever to win back-to-back Western Conference Player of the Month honors.
The three-point contest takes place next Saturday night. Belinelli is the defending champion. Irving won the year before.
